I am taking an UG upper division genetics course and it does a great job at explaining the concepts. However, there are pieces missing on full concepts as far as with Ch. 12- Ch. 13, and my professor clarifies the topics, but the book could do a better job. Overall, though, I have enjoyed learning this topic from this book|About the Author|Benjamin Pierce received a BS in Biology from Southern Methodist University and a PhD from the University of Colorado, USA. Ben is currently Professor of Biology and holder of the Lillian Nelson Pratt Chair at Southwestern University, Georgetown
